The Abatement Technologies CAP600-UVP is a whole-home central air purification system that installs directly into your forced-air HVAC ductwork. It delivers three-stage filtration — including a True HEPA filter rated at 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns — plus continuous germicidal UV-C irradiation and controlled ozone-based odor elimination, through every vent, in every room, simultaneously.

How It Works — 3-Stage Filtration + Germicidal UV + Ozone Odor Elimination

Stage 1 — MERV 4 Pre-Filter (F621)

Captures coarse particulate before it loads downstream filters. Replace monthly.

Stage 2 — Vapor-Lock Carbon/Particulate Filter (VL602)

Pleated particulate filtration with activated carbon — captures finer particles while adsorbing odors and VOCs. Replace every 6 months.

Stage 3 — True HEPA Filter (H610C-99)

Pre-certified True HEPA — 99.97% efficient at 0.3 microns. Captures bacteria, mold spores, pollen, smoke, soot, and sub-micron particulate. Replace every 2–3 years.

Germicidal UV-C + Photolytic Ozone — Dual-Frequency Lamp

The UVP625 dual-frequency lamp is positioned inside the cylindrical HEPA filter. The first frequency delivers germicidal UV-C irradiation — destroying bacteria, mold, and viruses. The second frequency splits oxygen molecules to generate a controlled amount of ozone via photolysis. That ozone circulates through the ductwork and coils, breaking down odor-causing compounds at the molecular level — pets, smoke, cooking, mold, VOC off-gassing — and reverts back to oxygen within seconds. Ozone levels measured 10 feet downstream test at 0.01 ppm or less — well below the 0.05 ppm typical outdoor level. You will not smell ozone in your living space.
