    Product Details

The WaterFurnace-recommended OEM replacement filter for Geothermal Comfort Systems requiring a 30 × 36 × 2 pre-filter. Each filter consists of two 18 × 30 × 2 panels taped together — the factory configuration. You will need to add a piece of tape to complete the join on installation. WaterFurnace refers customers to us for these filters. 4 filters per order.

⚠ Fit Warning — Read Before Ordering

WaterFurnace systems requiring a 30 × 36 × 2 filter need a true 30" × 36" filter. Standard 29-1/2" × 35-3/4" filters sold by other manufacturers will not seal correctly and allow unfiltered air to bypass the filter. The PowerGuard MERV 10 measures approximately 30" × 36" × 1-3/4" — the size WaterFurnace specifies.

Premier Series owners: Your unit's filter rack can be set for 1" or 2" filters. This is a 2" filter. Confirm your rack is set for 2" before ordering — changing the rack setting typically requires altering ductwork.

    Replacement Schedule

WaterFurnace specifies that filters should be inspected monthly and replaced when necessary. Replace at least every 4–6 months under normal operating conditions — more frequently in high-use homes or dusty environments. A 4-pack covers one to two years depending on operating conditions.

Never operate the unit without a filter. Running without a filter, or with a dirty filter, can reduce heat pump longevity and cause condensate drain overflow — per WaterFurnace's own O&M documentation.

Write the installation date on the filter with a permanent marker when you replace it. Refer to your unit's Owner's Manual for filter access instructions.

    Returns & Shipping

These filters are non-returnable. Due to their size, shipping costs are higher than standard — verify compatibility before ordering. All shipments are insured — contact us immediately if filters arrive damaged. Orders cannot be canceled or refunded once placed.
