Care & Replacement

Follow Mitsubishi Electric’s recommended maintenance schedule to keep your system running efficiently and your indoor air fresh:

• Every 3 months: Gently clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner.
  • If dirt cannot be removed by vacuuming, soak the filter and frame in lukewarm water, rinse, and dry completely in the shade.
• Every 12 months: Replace with a new deodorizing filter for best performance.
• If odors or dirt remain after cleaning, replace the filter sooner.

Additional Notes:

• Clean filters regularly to maintain performance and reduce energy consumption.
• Dirty filters can lead to condensation and mold growth—clean standard air filters every two weeks.
• Avoid touching the i-see sensor during cleaning or filter replacement.
