These Mitsubishi large air-purifying filters serve as the primary pre-filters for your select ceiling cassette indoor units. Constructed from a durable, washable woven-mesh material, they capture larger airborne particles such as dust, lint, and debris before they reach the indoor unit’s coil. This helps maintain proper airflow, protects internal components, and supports efficient system operation.

Although these filters are washable for routine maintenance, they are not lifetime filters. Over time, the mesh can stretch, weaken, or accumulate buildup that regular cleaning can’t fully remove. To maintain consistent airflow and indoor air quality, periodic replacement is required.

Maintenance & Care: Clean the large air-purifying filters every two weeks to maintain system efficiency and prevent airflow restriction. Regular cleaning reduces power consumption and helps prevent condensation buildup inside the air conditioner—an issue that can contribute to mold and fungi growth.

To clean, remove dust using a vacuum with a soft-bristle brush, or rinse the filters gently with water. Allow them to air-dry fully in the shade before reinstalling.
