This is the factory replacement filter for Mitsubishi PVA-A12AA7 and PVA-A18AA7 ducted indoor air handlers: the same washable filter that came installed inside your unit. Each pack contains two filters, so you can wash one and let it dry while the other is installed.
Before You Order: Which Filter Are You Replacing?
The filter inside the air handler cabinet: this listing. It measures 19-7/8" x 15-7/8" x 7/8" (sold as 20 x 16 x 1). It is the original-equipment filter, not an upgrade or a different style, so it will look exactly like the one already in your unit. If that matches what you are holding, this is the right filter.
A pleated filter in your ductwork or behind a return grille: not this listing. Many installers add a standard pleated air filter in the return duct, or behind a wall or ceiling return grille. That filter is sized to your home's ductwork, not to your Mitsubishi model, so it cannot be matched from your air handler's model number. Read the size printed on that filter's frame and shop our premium Koch pleated air filters in MERV 8, 11 and 13.
Have both? Keep both in service. The duct filter catches most of the dust first, but the filter inside the air handler should stay in place and still needs periodic cleaning and replacement. It will simply get dirty more slowly.

Cleaning & Replacement
Clear dust away lightly or clean the filter with a vacuum. If it is heavily clogged, wash it in lukewarm water with a mild neutral detergent, rinse the detergent off thoroughly, and let it dry completely before reinstalling it.
The filter is rated for 2,500 hours of runtime. With routine cleaning, plan to replace it about once a year, or sooner if it is torn, warped or will not come clean.

This listing is sold by indoor unit model. Under our Compatibility Guarantee, it fits every model listed on this page. Check the model number on your indoor unit's nameplate, typically on the right-hand side of the unit or on the bottom edge facing the floor, before ordering. Go by the nameplate rather than the owner's manual, since one manual usually covers several models.
If your model isn't listed, keep the filters sealed until you've confirmed the fit. Opened filters can't be returned. Send us your model number and we'll confirm the right part before you order.
About performance claims: Statements about antibacterial, anti-virus, anti-allergy, anti-mold, deodorizing or particle-capture performance describe the manufacturer's own testing and claims. Eligibility
Opened or used items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances. Products designated as Special Order, Clearance, Discontinued, or Final Sale along with Equipment are not eligible for return or exchange. All other returns require items to be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories and documentation included.
30-Day Return Policy
Unopened, unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to a restocking fee of at least 25% of the purchase price. Original shipping costs are not refunded. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number is required before shipping any return — contact us first at Help@HEPAFilterSales.com to receive return instructions. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. You will be notified by email when your refund has been issued.
Exchanges — Standard Restocking Charge Waived
Exchanges for unopened, unused items are not subject to a restocking fee. Contact us at Help@HEPAFilterSales.com before returning any item to arrange an exchange and receive expert advice on the correct solution.
Order Cancellations
Contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order. Not all orders can be cancelled once placed — freight and special-order items in particular may ship before a cancellation can be processed.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, note the damage with the delivery carrier at time of delivery, photograph the damage, and email us within 48 hours of delivery at Help@HEPAFilterSales.com. We will arrange return shipping and send a replacement at no additional cost to you.
If you receive an incorrect item (compared to what was ordered), email us your order number and a description of the issue. We will arrange return shipping and send the correct item at no cost to you.
Defective Items
Suspected product defects and performance issues are warranty matters handled directly by the manufacturer — they are not eligible for return or return shipping reimbursement from HEPA Filter Sales, LLC. Contact us and we will provide manufacturer contact information to assist with a warranty claim.
