Maintenance & Care

Midea recommends cleaning this ceiling cassette filter every two weeks using a vacuum with a soft-bristle brush attachment. In spaces with high traffic, smoke, or dust—such as restaurants, shops, garages, or homes with pets—filters may also be gently washed with mild soap and warm water. Always let filters dry completely out of direct sunlight before reinstalling.

⚠️ Never operate your mini split system without the filters installed. Keeping a backup set on hand makes it easier to stay on schedule with cleanings.

Replacement Guidance

Even though this filter is washable and reusable, its performance degrades over time. Depending on your environment and how consistently you clean it, the filter should be replaced every 2 to 3 years to keep your system operating efficiently and your air fresh.
