The Fresh-Aire UV Mini UV LED is the first UV LED disinfection system engineered specifically for mini-split and ceiling cassette HVAC systems. Built for tight, limited-space applications, this low-profile UV LED strip targets the most contamination-prone area of ductless systems—the blower wheel and internal air path—where mold and microbial growth commonly develop.

Unlike traditional mercury UV lamps, the Mini UV LED uses a UV LED spectrum designed to sterilize surfaces while having no impact on plastics, helping maintain a cleaner mini-split system, improve indoor air quality, and reduce maintenance caused by biological buildup.

Mini-splits are efficient, but their compact design can allow moisture and biological contamination to accumulate inside the indoor unit— particularly on and near the blower wheel. Mini UV LED is designed to help inhibit mold growth and keep internal surfaces cleaner over time.

Installation Notes

• Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician
• Install the LED strip so the light shines into the air system, not into the room
• Clean the blower wheel prior to installation for best results
• Handle the LED strip by the edges only—do not touch the LED surface
• Disconnect power before servicing or installation
• Do not expose the LED strip to water or submerge during cleaning
