Maintenance & Care

This filter is not washable. To maintain performance, gently vacuum the surface every two weeks using a soft-bristle brush attachment. Avoid using water or detergents as these will degrade the activated carbon media and reduce odor removal effectiveness.

Replacement Guidance

Carrier recommends replacing this filter every 6 months for optimal performance. The activated carbon becomes saturated over time and loses its ability to neutralize odors and airborne particles—even with regular cleaning. Keep your indoor air fresh by staying on schedule with filter replacement.
