    Product Details

The RPM-RT2 is Abatement Technologies' dual-room wall-mounted differential pressure monitor. It simultaneously monitors and records the pressure relationships between three locations — two monitored rooms and a reference area — providing 24/7 oversight of negative and positive pressure conditions in patient isolation rooms, protective environments, cleanrooms, hospital construction zones, and central sterilization/sterile processing departments.

The RPM-RT2 shares the same touchscreen interface, alarm system, logging, and network capabilities as the RPM-RT1, with the addition of a second pressure sensor input (ROOM B) and support for two RPM-RTSENSOR temperature/humidity sensors. If you only need to monitor one room, see the RPM-RT1.

RPM-RT1 vs. RPM-RT2 — Which Monitor Do You Need?

    RPM-RT1 RPM-RT2
    Pressure Inputs 1 (ROOM A) 2 (ROOM A + ROOM B)
    Rooms Monitored 1 2 simultaneously
Temp/RH Sensors Up to 2 Up to 2
    Kit P/N RPM-RT1K RPM-RT2K

    Features

The RPM-RT2 monitors the pressure differential between each room and the adjacent reference area across a range of -0.10 in. water gauge (-25 Pa) to +0.10 in. water gauge (+25 Pa). Alarm thresholds are configurable from -0.04 to +0.04 in. water gauge (-10 to +10 Pa) at 0.001 in. WC (0.025 Pa) resolution. The color-coded touchscreen background — green, yellow, or red — provides instant visual status for both rooms from across the room. Audible alarms include delay and timed shutoff settings. Password protection is included and can be disabled.

Data is logged to internal non-volatile memory (up to 12,000 events) and can be exported in CSV format via USB flash drive or accessed via BACnet or N2 network protocols for building management system integration. Calibrations are traceable to NIST standards.

Optional RPM-RTSENSOR temperature and relative humidity sensors can be added to either or both rooms. When sensors are connected, temperature and RH data is logged alongside pressure data and can trigger independent alarms when set limits are exceeded. Sensors and cables are not included with the base RPM-RT2 — see the kit configuration (RPM-RT2K) or order sensors and cables separately.
