While it is a washable air filter, it is recommended to replace this filter every 1 to 3 years depending on your frequency of vacuuming the filter. Vacuum monthly in high traffic areas since this filter is located near floor level where dust & dirt tend to accumulate.

After vacuuming with a soft brush, wash this filter gently in Luke warm water with a drop of detergent, rinse thoroughly and let it dry completely before re-inserting.
