Abatement Technologies S5000ET Collapsible Decontamination Shower

The S5000ET Teleshower is a collapsible, portable decontamination shower built for personnel decontamination after asbestos abatement and hazardous material remediation work. The telescoping design collapses for transport and storage, extends for full-height operation, and assembles without tools. At 78 lbs with two carrying handles, it moves with the job.

Note: The S5000ET is designed to be used in conjunction with the S5300 Portable Shower Pump and Filtration Unit for water management. It can also drain to a building drain via standard garden hose connection.

Construction

The cabinet is corrosion-resistant marine alloy aluminum — built for repeated deployment in the wet, contaminated environments that decontamination showers operate in. The reinforced floor is hinged to provide access for filter changes and cleaning without disassembling the unit. Twenty mil PVC shower curtains provide privacy and contain contaminated water within the unit during use.

Setup & Operation

Extension and collapse requires two people. Once extended and locked, one person can connect water lines, install the curtains, and connect the drain. Hot and cold water connect to separate fittings on the top section. The drain fitting at the base accepts a standard garden hose connection to the S5300 pump unit or building drain. The 100-micron filter bag installs under the shower drain in a channeled housing accessible through the hinged floor — replace when water flow through the drain slows noticeably.

Indoor use only. Replace the S5110B filter bag as asbestos waste per applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Use only Abatement Technologies OEM filter bags — substitute parts void the warranty.
