How It Works — 5-Stage Filtration + Germicidal UV + Photolytic Ozone

Stage 1 — MERV 4 Pre-Filter (F621)

Captures coarse particulate. Biodegradable, 5× dirt-holding capacity of fiberglass filters. Replace monthly.

Stage 2 — MERV 6 Pleated Particulate Filter (H502)

Finer particle capture — protects the carbon stage and HEPA from early loading. Replace every 6 months.

Stage 3 — Vapor-Lock Carbon Filter (VL1002)

Dedicated activated carbon stage — captures odors, VOCs, and gaseous contaminants. Replace annually.

Stage 4 — True HEPA Filter (H610C-99)

Pre-certified True HEPA — 99.97% efficient at 0.3 microns. Captures bacteria, mold spores, pollen, smoke, soot, and sub-micron particulate. Replace every 2–3 years.

Stage 5 — Germicidal UV-C + Photolytic Ozone (UVP625)

The dual-frequency UVP625 lamp is positioned inside the cylindrical HEPA where air is pre-cleaned. The first frequency delivers germicidal UV-C irradiation. The second frequency generates controlled ozone via photolysis — breaking down odor compounds throughout the ductwork and coils. Ozone reverts to oxygen in seconds. Measured at 10 feet downstream: ≤0.01 ppm — well below the 0.05 ppm outdoor baseline. You will not smell ozone in your living space.
