Maintenance & Care:

• The Fujitsu K9315014023 should be cleaned every two weeks to ensure its best air-cleaning performance and Replaced Annually. Fujitsu recommends cleaning the air filter in warm water with a mild soap mix or a vacuum cleaner to remove the airborne dust and pollutants collected. After washing the K9315014023 filter, it must be thoroughly air-dried before it can be placed back in the indoor unit.
  

Since the Fujitsu K9315212016 mini split filter kit comes with two different types of filters, the cleaning instructions for both filters are different.

• The UTR-FA13-1 Apple Catechin (White) filter is a disposable air filter that should be replaced every three months or more frequently based on your environment. If this filter is washed, the media will be damaged. 
  • This Filter should be replaced every THREE months. (4 per year)
• The UTR-FA13-2 Negative Air Ion Deodorizing (Blue) Filter should be cleaned every three months. Clean the filter in warm water and mild detergent. Do not scrub the air filter with an abrasive pad or brush, as scrubbing will damage its deodorizing power.
  • This Filter should be replaced every THREE years or more frequently based on your environment.
