Fujitsu K9317250009 UTR-FA16 & UTR-FA16-2 OEM replacement filters with two Fujitsu K9332911008 UTR-FA16 & UTR-FA16-2 OEM replacement filter holders. These filters and holders are designed to fit the following models of Fujitsu mini splits:

Since the Fujitsu K9317250009 Air Filter Kit comes with two different types of filters, there are different cleaning instructions for both filters. The UTR-FA16 Apple Catechin filter is a disposable air filter and shouldn't be washed. If this filter is washed the media will be damaged. The Polyphenol air filter should also not be stored for long periods of time because as the filter ages, it loses the ability to clean the air as effectively. Replace this filter every three months.

The recommended cleaning process for the UTR-FA16-2 Negative Air Ions deodorizing filter is to clean the filter in a warm water and mild detergent. The air filter is not to be scrubbed with an abrasive pad or brush. Scrubbing will damage the deodorizing power of the filter. Fujitsu recommends that this air filter be cleaned every three months and replaced every three years.
