Koch Air Filter 19 7/8 x 21 1/2 x 1 MERV 8 Pleated Air Filter - 12 Pack

The Koch Multi-Pleat XL8 MERV 8 furnace filter model P8S1-197-214 is a high performance disposable replacement air filter for all Bryant, Carrier and Payne gas and oil furnaces, heat pump and AC air handlers that use a 19 7/8 x 21 1/2 x 1 air filter. This filter has the same efficiency rating as the original manufacturer's reusable filter, with the convenience of a disposable. The size of the P8S1-197-214 air filter is approximately 19 3/4" x 21 3/8" x 3/4".

The Koch Multi-Pleat XL8 MERV 8 disposable air filters feature a filtering medium that is more efficient and ecologically friendly than most other air filters on the market. Made entirely from recycled materials, this medium achieves MERV 8 efficiency with low resistance to airflow. It is also unaffected by high humidity and is hydrophobic (non-moisture absorbing). Koch Multi-Pleat XL8 air filters can upgrade existing flat panels as well as MERV 6 & 7 pleated filters currently being used with little increase in resistance. All Multi-Pleat XL8 filters are 30-35% efficient by ASHRAE 52.1-92 and MERV 8 per ASHRAE 52.2-99. Diagonal and horizontal support members provide frame strength and the filter media pack is sealed to eliminate air bypass. The Koch Multi-Pleat XL8 filters are UL 900 Class 2 listed.

The Koch P8S1-197-214 air filter media should be checked every month. Adjust the schedule to your needs, but at least replace the filter every three months.
