Maintenance & Care

• The UTR-FA13-1 Apple Catechin (WHITE) filter is a disposable air filter and shouldn't be washed. If this filter is cleaned, the media will be damaged. The Polyphenol air filter should also only be stored temporarily because as the filter ages, it loses the ability to clean the air as effectively. This filter should be replaced every three months. • The UTR-FA13-2 (BLUE) Negative Air Ion deodorizing filter should be cleaned every three months and replaced every three years. Clean the filter in warm water and mild detergent. The air filter should not be scrubbed with an abrasive pad or brush, as scrubbing will damage the deodorizing power of the filter.  This filter is also referred to as Part# 9311925071
