The Honeywell model POPUP2200 is a replacement air filter that folds down for easy storage and expands easily for use. Just open the package, pop open, and the filter is ready to use. The POPUP2200 air filter has a MERV 11 rating and also meets American Lung Association® Health House® guidelines. The POPUP2200 is a genuine replacement filter for the Aprilaire 2200 and Spaceguard 2200.
The size of the POPUP2200 air filter when expanded is approximately 20 1/4" x 24 1/4" x 5 7/8". You can fit a 5 pack of POPUP2200 popup air filters in the same storage space as one 20" x 24" x 6" OEM replacement filter.
Honeywell recommends the replacement of the air filter media every six months, before heating season and before cooling season. Adjust the schedule to your needs, but at least replace the filter annually. Regular replacement of the air filter will maximize the efficiency of your heating and cooling system.
