The L27 Solenoid Coils are epoxy encapsulated, continuous duty, moisture resistant magnetic coils designed to operate the pilot valve controlling the reversing valve. The solenoid frame is plated cold rolled steel suitable for outdoor application when mounted inside a weather-protected compartment. This solenoid is rated 24vac, 50/60Hz, has 48" wire leads. The L27-2003 replaces Ranco L27-102
The Solenoid Coil had two connection options: lead wire or quick-connect terminal.
Application: product for use with all Ranco heat pump reversing valves. Actuates pilot valve controlling main reversing valve.
Product Operation:
The L27 is designed for 50/60 Hertz operation and will operate at 15% under rated voltage as well as 10% over rated voltage for short periods. The L27 coil can withstand a high potential test of 1000 volts plus two times rated voltage for one minute.
