The Honeywell humidifier pad model number HC26A1008 is the original OEM replacement humidifier pad (also called humidifier filter) for the Honeywell models HE260, HE265, HE360 and HE365 humidifiers and for Aprilaire models 350, 360, 560, 568, 600, 700, 760 and 768 humidifiers.
The size of the HC26A1008 replacement humidifier pad is approximately 10" x 13" x 1 1/2". The humidifier spreads water over the humidifier pad, and when warm air blows over the water soaked area, vapor is generated. As the vapor circulates through the house, the relative humidity rises.
The humidifier pad must be in good condition to assure the high capacity trouble-free performance of your humidifier. The manufacturer recommends changing your humidifier pad annually under normal operating conditions. If you have especially hard water you may need to replace your humidifier filter 2 times per year.
