The Abatement Technologies, Inc. air filter model H055UVR is the 16 x 25 x 5 MERV 11 original equipment manufacturer or OEM replacement final filter for the Abatement Technologies CAP50-UV and CAP50-UVP whole house Central Air Purification systems. The actual size of the H055UVR air filter is approximately 15 1/2" x 24 3/8" x 4 1/2".
This high performance filter captures particles as small as one to five microns in size. The final stage filter is treated with an EPA-registered microbial growth inhibitor that is effective against many bacteria and molds. The H055UVR is resistant to ultraviolet light and must be used with systems that use UV lamps that utilize "UltraViolight" technology like the CAP50-UV and CAP50-UVP Central Air Purification systems.
The manufacturer recommends you change the final filter every 6 to 9 months under normal operating conditions.
