The Aprilaire 102 air filter is the original manufacturer’s replacement filter media for the Aprilaire model 2120 whole house air cleaner.
The 102 replacement filter has a rating of MERV 10. The size of the 102 replacement air filter is approximately 20" x 25 1/4" x 3 3/4". This is the high efficiency filtering media that is the heart of your air cleaner. The filter media must be in good condition to assure the highest efficiency and trouble-free performance of your air cleaner.
The manufacturer recommends changing the model 102 filter media approximately every 6 months depending on the operation of your heating and/or air conditioning system.
To replace the filter, follow the directions on the box of the replacement media and check your owner’s manual for any additional routine maintenance that may be required.
